smonsterbite is soliciting opinions of the dialect, accents, and phrasing used in Firefly the show (and movie).

I want to write my own post defending these choices, but first I'd like to get a better idea of what it is that bugs people about it (or why they like it). To that end, I've created a poll. If you'd rather just post a comment, you can do that, too. Please keep it spoiler free for the movie - examples from all 13 eps are fair game. I haven't addressed the way River speaks, but feel free to expound upon that if you feel so moved.
